My name is Kim Shea and I am so excited to be student teaching in 3rdgrade at Spears with Ms. Ruder andMs. Kemp! I have my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and over 25 years in insurance. I decided to go back to school and change my career to teaching after working closely with my daughter’s Girl Scout Troop and teaching Sunday school for the last 3 years. I have always wanted to be a teacher because I love working with kids! I have a great family which includes my daughter, Marianne who is in 5th grade at Smith and my husband John. John and I just got married this past summer, so it’s still new for me to be called Mrs. Shea. We also have 4 dogs that keep us busy on the weekends. I love to do arts and crafts, cook, spend time with family and friends, watch the Cowboys, go shopping, and read all types of books.
